A consolidation of the Canadian Copyright Act that includes the provisions from the Copyright Modernization Act (CMA) has been made by the Department of Justice and is available here. It is cited as Copyright Act R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42. It is current as of 18 November 2012 and includes amendments up to and on 7 November 2012.

Copyright Modernization Act

Most of the amendments made to the Canadian Copyright Act by the CMA became effective 7 November 2012. The CMA however was passed on 29 June 2012. Any amendments from the CMA that are not yet in force are set out at the end of the consolidated act under the heading “Amendments Not in Force.” If you are accessing the PDF version of the consolidated act, those provisions not yet in force are set out on pages 160-165.
